Tajddin Arnold Maghni (born January 17, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, record producer, composer, and commercial software entrepreneur. He is also popularly known by the name TJ or TJ Maghni.[1]
Tajddin is most known for his work as an independent software entrepreneur, having also been featured on CNN Headline News’ Business and Beyond television segment.[2] While his claim to success started with the founding of his software firm, Magnoware, his unique combination of pop, club and world-influenced music has garnered him much praise by music industry professionals and independent media.[3]
Tajddin’s most notable music endeavor is his solo album debut, Rock that Beat. A mixture of synth pop, hip/hop, techno and club, Rock that Beat exudes the very same diversity that makes up his multi-cultural upbringing. Entirely written, performed and produced by him, “Rock that Beat” meshes fun, catchy dance beats and insightful, lyrically-sound tracks that offer a look inside his humble beginnings.[4]

[edit] Background
Brought up in the Latin music scene of Miami, Tajddin was born in Madrid, Spain to Cuban and Moroccan parents. His love for music began early in life, with musical influences ranging from Santana and Van Morrison to Michael Jackson and the Gypsy Kings.
His music career, however, began in the most unlikely of ways: in front of a computer screen. Tajddin's entrepreneurial drive had led him to pursue a career in computer software, and, by 17, he had founded his own customer support software firm. His innate knowledge of computers, coupled with a natural musical talent, helped shape his understanding of music production software, and by 20 he began writing fully-fledged musical compositions.
