Tales from the Heart

Tales from the Heart is the title of a series of comic books, written by Cindy Goff and detailing her adventures working with the Peace Corps in the Central African Republic in the mid-1980s. The first two issues of the series were published by Entropy in 1987, with nine later issues published by Slave Labor Graphics. A color graphic novel A Bloodlines: Tales from the Heart of Africa was published by Marvel Comics (under their Epic Comics imprint) in 1990.[1]
