Tao (Tamia) Liu (Chinese: 刘涛; pinyin: Liú Tāo; born July 12, 1978) is a Chinese film actress. She is famed for her noticeable performance in the popular TV series Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils as Ah Zhu.
[edit] Career
Born in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, Tamia served in the entertainment division-part of a performance troop in the People's Liberation Army. TV commercials led Tamia into professional acting. Because of her spunk, and her never-give up personality that resembles the typical Shanghainese girl-Xing Zi,Tamia was awarded the role of Xing Zi in the popular Cantonese TV series Foreign Wives, Local Guys. Later, she cast as Mu Sha in "Princess Returning Pearl III" and noticeably as Ah Zhu in "Heavenly Dragon 8th Episode (Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils)". Tamia's impressive performance brought Ah Zhu's shyness, and caring personality into life and made herself a popular actress.
