Tegaderm

Tegaderm is a transparent medical dressing manufactured by 3M. Tegaderm transparent dressings can be used to cover and protect catheter sites and wounds.
Advantages of Tegaderm include its breathability and conformation to the skin such that it adheres in places such as the fingers and toes.
Those with delicate skin, perhaps through Systemic lupus erythematosus or steroid use, would be advised to consider Mepilex Border instead. Tegaderm adheres agressively, and has been known to remove areas of skin when being taken off.[citation needed]
