[edit] Clean up the vandalism
Someone thought it would be cute to replace "The Beatles" with "The Beatleforce" or something to that effect.
[edit] Returning this to FA status
Put your FA work suggestions into a section here. Put specific work into the general todo list above.

- Every word counts. The Beatles are one of the, if not the, most written about musical acts in history. We can't cover everything here and must focus on the core themes. (Actually the article isn't too badly focussed already, but we'll have additions to make, merges to consider, and will have to remove a certain amount of cruft).
- Every assertion, everything which could be opinion or disputed, must be cited.
- There are lots of articles already on core Beatle topics which overlap with this one. We should look at merging some of them here, summarising others in sections, and possibly forking material out of this article.
- The Quarrymen
- Lennon/McCartney - Not a very long article.
- The Beatles' influence on popular culture
- The Beatles line-ups
- The Beatles trivia - Not all of this is trivia, and some of it came from this article.
- History of The Beatles - Replaced by a redirect to The Beatles. We might want to repeat the fork but hopefully we can avoid it. If we do refork, we have to manage it better next time. Also, the last revision before the redirect might contain usable material. Also, some material about influences on The Beatles zapped in a major edit by me might be salvageable (probably not but I'm linking as a courtesy).
- Create: The Beatles tours

Before going for FA (or GA) get a WP:Peer review of the article!! Also, it sounds silly but read a few reviews of current nominations to get a feel of what does (and doesn't) get an article failed - that is where to concentrate your energies. This applies to any article, I realise, but not all the project members are familiar with getting articles to standard. LessHeard vanU 23:57, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
