Talk:The Enterprise Incident

I own a copy of the first draft script which has the dialogue relating to the improved cloaking device. Does my word count? Would someone like a photocopy of the page with the dialogue? Sir Rhosis 20:28, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- (Do I count as a "citation?")
- No, you cannot cite yourself! See Wikipedia:Citing sources. Cyberia23 21:11, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- Why not include a reference to the publication containing the script? Jtk6204 01:46, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
The script I own is a mimeo of the original script itself. It is not "published." Sir Rhosis 02:15, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- No one is doubting your word, but the fact that you have this script and are able to refer to it directly is not stated in the article. Whether or not it was ever published, the article could use a citation from it as a footnote, containing the name of the author or authors, the date when it was created, its format, its circulation, and perhaps the actual verbatim quote to which you refer.
