this was featured in the movie x men 3 --- there was an article on wikipedia but it was gone so I copy pasted it from answers.com and added the x men 3 referenceMineralè 02:36, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

please readd. it's nice to see the line get some backing in the movie, the wiki blowhards should feel pretty grimey.

Agree. I was pleased to see it in the movie, too. But I guess we still can't get a page for the Juggernaut Bitch... RiseAbove 07:28, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Featured in X-Men 3?

How was this featured in X-Men 3? And do you have a citation for that? --William Pietri 05:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Look at the youtube video 72.145.155.253 05:54, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, that's helpful. However, that's not featured. That's "probably referenced". When you get an article quoting a writer or producer to say it's a reference, then it's just "referenced". I see you folks have been through the deletion wringer, and I'm sorry about that, but the way to avoid that is to do work so solid it's above reproach. That might include registering for an account, declaring any involvement, and favoring discussion over revert wars. --William Pietri 06:05, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
I've yet to see the movie, X-Men:_The_Last_Stand, but at one point apparently the Juggernaut says "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch", and rumors of this being a nod to this dub. I've seen a few different sources of the character saying "I'm the Juggernaut", but the video cuts out at the point, so I can't actually hear if he says "bitch" after it, which would be a key to the joke. It needs to be substantiated, however. A reliable source that states that the directory/writer actually used this dub as a source for putting the quote into the movie would probably be the best. Kevin Breitenstein 05:55, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
He says bitch, see this Mineralè 07:05, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Will people who haven't seen the movie stop asking if it happened or not? Just see the thing if you're not willing to believe the dozens of disparate editors who claimed they saw it (like me) during the deletion review (archived above). This whole mess of people wanting to believe otherwise illustrated a troubling aspect of the attitude of some Wikipedians. --Bobak 20:10, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I've seen it, and the line's definitely in there. Postdlf 14:59, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Inappropriate Tone

I added the tag because articles shouldn't refer to characters with two names, using 'herein after referred to as'. It makes it sound like a Supreme Court case. Also the references are need of major cleanup, as they are links to WP articles (not sure if that's an appropriate source) and the 'captions' on them are very inappropriate. Chuck(척뉴넘) 06:58, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

I agree... but actually, Supreme Court decisions rarely if ever use "'herein after referred to as'" -but I'm just a lawyer, bitch! --Bobak 16:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC), Bitch!
I've reworded the first paragraph of the main text and the X-Men 3 reference, hopefully the tone is more appropriate now. However, the description of the film itself could use some serious rethinking. --User:DJ Mike TJG 20:27, 2 June 2006 (BST)

[edit] Title

Is it called "The Juggernaut Bitch" or "The Juggernaut Bitch!!". If it's the latter than this page should probably be moved to The Juggernaut Bitch!!. Another example of an article like this is Jeopardy!, which also has an explamation point in it's proper title. Chuck(척뉴넘) 19:09, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

It is "The Juggernaut Bitch!!" so, yeah, it should probably be moved and redirected. Thanks. RiseAbove 08:11, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Done. Chuck(척뉴넘) 08:18, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Plot summary

How should we handle the names of the characters in the plot summary? Some of them are renamed directly in the skit, but others seem to keep their original names. Should we list them by the names they are called in the skit with a wiki link to their character article (as it is sort of done now) or do we want to call them by their original names and put notes in the footnote section stating that they are referred to as such and such in the skit? StarNeptune 06:51, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

My feeling is that there's no way to verify the names of the characters or really any of the plot elements. The 'plot' was never designed so as for someone to actually follow what's happening in the story. I'm not sure you can really summarize it without interpreting it. My vote would be to remove the plot summary. Doctofunk 20:04, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] OR

I don't have a problem with this article being on Wikipedia, but the "response" section reads as pure original research. Either the section should go, or someone needs to find some references to back up the claims. — BrianSmithson 13:16, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree. Doctofunk 16:02, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
I've now reworded the Response section, since it contained a lot of wording that was inappropriate to the tone of an encyclopaedia article. I do, however, agree with the notion that the section reads more as an open baseless commentary rather than something which has been resourced from an actual (formal) article, so whether it stays is a matter for whether someone can cite a reputable source of opinion. --DJ Mike TJG 12:02, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

I agree too DrTofu83 17:57, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I tried to edit it, but there was so much conclusion, original research and hype it was difficult, and then I saw that much of the information already appeared earlier in the article. Just had to take it out back and shoot it. -- Tenebrae 12:55, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Relevant content or advertising?

Nazario and Hayes announced in timeframe here that My Way Entertainment is scheduled to release a sequel in Summer 2006. Hayes and Nazario have also created a Power Rangers online parody, done in a similar style.

These lines don't seem relevant to this article. I don't think other projects by the same creators should be mentioned at all on wikipedia until the projects themselves attain notability. Doctofunk 19:29, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

A sequel? Most definitely relevant, assuming there are references. The Power Rangers one perhaps would belong in a separate article, but would likely be consensus-merged here if someone found it. --badlydrawnjeff talk 19:33, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
And you shoulda seen the way it was phrased before I softened it. It was waaaaaay advertising! --Tenebrae 19:34, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm okay with leaving the mention of the sequel; the power rangers line should be removed though. If it were in a separate article, the article would almost certainly get deleted. Doctofunk 20:04, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] so...

this article is a way of rewarding a persistant AOL denial of service vandal? wait a go bored internet trolls!--205.188.116.200 20:05, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

  • explaining: here, restoring this page seems to send that message that if you're an annoying enough denial of service vandal, we'll restore your worthless article for you--205.188.116.200 22:12, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
Pretty sure the restoration had nothing to do with rewarding a vandal and everything to do with the fact that X-Men 3 referenced the video. But hey, I'm always up for a conspiracy theory. Doctofunk 17:58, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
If I may riposte your straw man... by this logic, we should remove the George W Bush page because by keeping it up, "the vandals win." Liu Bei 13:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not a reference

The article stated that the utterance of the line in the latest X-Men movie is a reference to the meme. Without a cite to a reliable source which directly states that, this claim is original research, and as such I have changed it to better reflect the fact that the title was uttered as a line in the movie. This reflects the MTV source which states "thrilled over the prospect of watching Jones utter the line made popular by an Internet spoof Nazario released last February." (my emphasis) Steve block Talk 16:27, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tidying of Plot Summary

I cleaned up the plot summary a fair bit. I did like the older version, and feel it's quite appropriate for a fan appreciation site, but it was full of analysis/interpretation. I'm still not entirely sure what the point is of summarizing a twelve minute video, but if there is to be a plot summary it should be factual and NPOV. Doctofunk 19:49, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

I've further cleaned up the plot summary. The style has been improved, and an effort has been made to mention key plot elements. The previous version, I found, simply did not mention enough. The reader was bound to get the impression that the plot of the video wasn't at all comical, or strange. dillesca 13:54, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dave Chapelle

I think it should be added that most of this was a play off of Dave Chapelle especially his use of Bitch and the fact that "I'm the juggernaut Bitch" is basically "I'm Rick James Bitch"

Do you have a source?Jacknife737 22:02, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, of course. The source is that the guy says his name followed by the word "bitch," so obviously this is a direct reference to Dave Chappelle, the first person in the history of the world to ever use a name coupled with "bitch." Why, just the other day I was looking in the mirror and I said "I'm Wavy G, bitch!" and Chappelle's lawyers instantly showed up at my door. Sheesh. Wavy G 00:40, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Hey, hun, cool it down. You have to be new to not know that Wikipedia requires citations. If you add this in, you'll have to plug in a "supposedly" or "apparently", or else it'll get cut by someone. Even, then, it's up for grabs. You could label it[citation needed], too.
On a second note, Wiki also has a courtesy policy aka don't get nasty sarcastic and play someone down as you just did aka don't be a bitch. Evan 02:52, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, "hun," I was only kidding. Gosh, I wasn't aware that Wikipedia does not allow humour, but now I know. Oh, well. "Live and learn," as they say. Love, Wavy G 04:36, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Article Q: Section 24 of Wikipedia policy states that users must not have a sense of humor, sorry.
Well, I hope you know you just broke policy because you made me laugh. Seriously though, I just thought it was funny that somebody assumed this was a Dave Chappelle ripoff--a connection I would have never made, personally--simply because they the word "bitch," so I thought I'd throw out one of my patented hilarious jibes (they really are patented, so don't try stealing them, or you'll be hearing from my lawyers).
There is no 'sarcasm' option on the board, so it looked like you were being mean, I'm sorry. Again, you could have just said "you misinterpreted".
And I almost always use a term of endearment when I'm talking. I have a million little cousins I see every day, and I just refer to people that way to avoid having to remember and call everyone by their real names. It doesn't mean anything... hun. Evan 08:16, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Understood. I'm secretly fond of sexual harrassment towards me, so I don't mind, really. (<--Ba-BOOM! Another hilarious Wavy G zinger!) Love, Wavy G 03:33, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] redirecting

It's hard for people to look up the exact title (there has to be 2 exclamation marks, and the "I'm" from "I'm the juggernaut bitch!!" is missing; so for those who want to wiki this, it's a little hard. Often times they'll give up thinking there isn't such an article. Someone should redirect from Juggernaut Bitch, juggernaut Bitch!, I'm the Juggernaut Bitch!, etc., etc. I personally don't know how to redirect.

[edit] Seperate article for J2: Juggment Day

Seeing as J2: Juggment Day redirects to this article, and that this article contains no information on J2, should we start work on a seperate article for J2, or perhaps a new section in this article covering J2? --- Odin 03:51, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

I would wait until it achieves notability of its own. Having seen the video, my hunch is that it never will. Doctofunk 15:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia Section

My opinion is that there's nothing substantive in the trivia section and it should be removed. These are obscure tidbits unworthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia article. Doctofunk 15:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rethinking Plot Section

Is this section meant to be a concise summary of the story, or an elaborate retelling of it, including a random selection of jokes and tangential information? My preference is for the first option; the second option is available via fan appreciation sites or merely by watching the video. I'd propose the following rewrite of the plot section; it's much more concise and still serves as a summary of what happens in the video:

The plot begins with the Juggernaut attacking Professor Charles Xavier and kidnapping Lilandra (referred to as "Bitch"). Juggernaut is neutralized when his helmet is knocked off and Charles invades his mind, but Black Tom Cassidy appears and zaps Charles with his cane. Juggernaut throws Charles out a window.

At an island castle, Black Tom encounters Erik the Red (referred to as "Ketchup"), who has arrived in a spaceship. Ketchup attacks Black Tom, but is stopped by Juggernaut, who hurls Ketchup into two of his mind-controlled soldiers. Later, it appears Ketchup has joined forces with Black Tom and Juggernaut, who are counting money and threatening the Bitch. Elsewhere, Charles wakes up and roars. In the foyer of the castle, the X-Men, including Wolverine, Gambit, Jubilee, Banshee, and Rogue, burst in and attack. Wolverine tries to untie the Bitch from a chair, but is stopped by a blast from Black Tom's cane. Eventually, the Bitch frees herself, but Juggernaut seizes her and leaves the room.

On the roof of the castle, Juggernaut's team is surrounded by the X-Men when Gladiator (referred to as "Goliath") appears. Goliath provokes the Juggernaut and then hurls him from the castle roof when the Juggernaut attacks him.

Doctofunk 17:08, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

When I originally reedited the plot section, the main reason for it was that I believed the Wikipedia article served no interesting or useful purpose in its present state. I looked it up prior to watching the video, and, really, what I was concerned with was whether the video was worth watching or not. A mere description was totally useless. Also, it makes for better reading this way.

dillesca 14:02, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Is this random or am I missing something.

At the very end of the article it says: " He is also well known among the lady's for his 27 inch penis. Its a monster bitch!!" This isn't a quote as far as I can tell, and it seems like something someone randomly put in the article. I don't wan't to delete it in case I'm missing something important/obvious. AlabastaJoe 22:17, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Case for Greater My Way Coverage

"My Way Entertainment" and "J2: Juggment Day" both redirect here. Since their initial success with The Juggernaut Bitch!!, My Way has released X-Men in Space, J2: Juggment Day, two My Way Power Rangers, two Spider-Man cartoon takeoffs, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles parody, and there is a forthcoming Ghostbusters work. The My Way guys keep making these videos, and to the best of my knowledge people are still watching and enjoying them. I don't think each one deserves it own article, but I am strongly in favor of making My Way Entertainment its own page, mentioning the full scope of work they've made. Discussion and debate are welcome. --BDD 15:53, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
