[edit] Pronunciation of name
Could any one help with the pronunciation of his name?
The name Theodor is in German Spoken as spelled Teodor. The Surname is the same as in hench in henchmen. --Grotej 11:48, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

- I mostly agree. The Th in German in just like T. But the "e" is not like English "e" at all, more like "a" or "maybe a short "ae" . So "Taodor" or "Tae-odor" is about as good as I can make it in ASCII.--Stephan Schulz 14:20, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Hänsch's student
A previous edit had changed the name of Hänsch's student to Ketterle rather than Wieman. However Wieman's Nobel autobiography says he was Hänsch's student, and an articlein the Stanford Report also states that Wieman was Hänsch's student. -- physicsdavid 23:37, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
