The Early Years is a compilation album by Australian pop–dance singer Dannii Minogue. It is scheduled to be released in 2007, along side the other compilation collection entitled The Platinum Collection. It will be released in the United Kingdom.
The album is to be a sort of best of/greatest hits collection spanning material from the era of 91-93. This was the period when she released her first 2 studio albums Love & Kisses and Get Into You. It Is expected to feature all singles from bothe albums including the singles that were not included on The Hits & Beyond. Such singles being I Don't Wanna Take This Pain, Show You The Way To Go, Love's On Every Corner, This Is The Way and Get Into You. The collection is also expected to feature a number of unreleased material frm the Get Into You album recording sessions and mixes from both albums, including a previously unheard radio edit for Be Careful.
The album had been hoped to have been released in January 2007 however due to unforseen rights issues regarding the entire Get Into You album the album has had to be put back for the moment until the issues are resolved. However, it is hoped to have it released at the same time as The Platinum Collection.
Release now looks on course for May/June 2007
