Since I have been warned by a bot and cannot delete/report this document I would like to clarify.
1.Chernobyl did in fact have a meltdown in reactor number 4 due to power usage experiments. 2.The reactor melted down due to the fact that their was minimal to no power going to the cooling turbines. 3.Since the turbines stopped suppling water the core temp became critical melting and burning the graphite control rods. 4.The heat caused by this fast reacting accident melted the cover to the core itself releasing radiation into the atmosphere.
This article is extremely flawed as their is no story officially or unofficially that I could find, nor were the sources sited for this document. So I warn you be alive this article at your own risk it is in no way true or reliably represents the truth behind the Chernobyl disaster
Background:
Officially, Chernobyl's reactor #4 melted down and exploded because of an experiment in shutting down automated safeties to manually keep the reactor running at low power.
Unofficially, Note that this information was discovered by the Russian Mafiya and then traded with Interpol for one of their area bosses before American authorities learned the truth.
The U.S.S.R. was experimenting with Portal technology as a means to deliver nuclear weapons directly to the targets without having to fly them over the North Pole, effectively making giving the Soviet Union first strike capabilities without the possibility of a return strike.
Initial tests proved the tech as a viable means of rapid transportation, unfortunately the transmission stream became unstable over greater distances, allowing for minor fluctuations to tear open a hole from the transmission stream into regular space.
Pre-Chernobyl, there were three of these "Portal" generators, One In Moscow, One in Petrograd( St. Petersburg), and one on the Kola Navel yards, all three used Chernobyl as a relay point for the transmission stream in order to bounce it to it's intended destination.
From the information gathered, the Soviets neglected to factor in dark energy, a theory which was just recently introduced in the West, but was relatively old in the East.
During one transmission, from Petrograd, to the Kola peninsula, a dark energy fluctuation ripped a hole in the stream directly inside the Chernobyl reactor, which caused the catastrophic explosion it is known for.

Underneath the Chernobyl facility, Soviets scientists experimented on a similar but different portal tech, and with regularity, the tests brought in foreign life forms back with the test subject.
Appearing harmless, the Soviets learned that the life forms absorbed any life they came into contact with, and their appearance shifted toward whatever form of life they had absorbed.
According to research data, the life forms grew at an extraordinary rate, and then once they reached a maturing point gained the inherent ability to teleport. In order to contain the creatures, they Soviet scientists placed them into magnetically charged containment areas which appeared to stop them from using their innate teleportation abilities.
When the reactor at the Chernobyl station melted down power was lost to the containment fields and all that were within the facility supposedly perished from radiation exposure.
After the Chernobyl incident, there have been "folk lore" stories about men or women, who have disappeared, or presumed dead, from years before, coming in the night from unknown locations and taking children away from families.
All of these disappearances began after the Chernobyl incident.
The range of the "Ghosts" is as follows: North easter Russia centralized around Chernobyl, some Isolated incidents Near Moscow and St. Petersburg, and some of western Canada, and Alaska.
Several theory's state that the U.S. was also experimenting on the portal technology which, in turn, partly caused the 3 mile Island near miss.
