The Good Luck Joes is a band originally from Michigan who now makes their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They began to practice together as a band in 2002. The band consists of Andrew Martin on lead vocals and second lead guitar, Andrew Krei on first lead guitar and backup vocals, Joe Scheltema on bass guitar and backing vocals on some songs, Peter Goodwyn on drums/percussion, and Andrew Citron on keyboards/piano. It was in 2004 that they released their first album, self titled "The Good Luck Joes".
The album did not do well, and they remained relatively unheard of until 2006 when they released their second album, "What Do You Think of That Noise?". In 2005 they had released an EP (named "48 Hours EP"), which was put on iTunes, allowing them to begin to gather a small fan-base. The band played at Summerfest, and then later at smaller venues, where they played multiple acoustic shows. In September 2006, their lead song off of "What Do You Think...?", "Middle of Me" was used in promo spots for the ABC show Six Degrees, and the band made some national waves. In early November, the band played their first full band show in months at the Points East Pub in Milwaukee, WI, where they played 5 songs never before played. Shortly after this, according to their official website, they have finished recording these 5 songs. Sometime after the holidays, they are planning to release one of these songs on their website, and all 5 are set to be released as an EP in early spring.
This song turned out to be "Invincible", which was indeed played as the first song at the Point's East Concert where they unvailed the song. The next song released, on February 8th, is called "My Little Thief", the second Point's East song. On February 28th, 2007, they released two music videos on YouTube, one for Best Medicine, and one for Middle of Me.
