"The Idol Side of Me" is an episode of Hannah Montana.

A contest is set up to see who can sing the best and the winner gets to perform with Hannah Montana. Miley thinks Amber is a bad singer, so she tries to embarrass her by making her in the top 3; but it turns out that Ashley was the bad singer, not Amber. Meanwhile, Jackson and his Dad tries to sort out a problem with a noisy dog. Lola makes a trap for Amber's green entrance, but Hannah Montana crosses this door and trips over the trap. Amber tells Hannah Montana that she had been a horrible girl with glasses in primary school, and she pretends like it never bothered her. Hannah tells Amber that making fun of the ugly or the weird people is bad and mean. Amber promises to stop to bother of Dandruff Danny, but she continues bothering them as Miley and Lilly. Lilly returns to tend the same trap to Amber that she tended accidentally to Hannah.

Also Robbie Ray is just starting to write "If We Were a Movie" even though Hannah is already recording it in the episode "Good Golly Miss Dolly"
