The Inbreds (UK metal band)

The Inbreds are a punk metal band from London, UK. Conceived in 2001 as the product of several local bands, the line up consists of a an unusual 6 band members.
Following a deal with Anticulture records, the band released their debut 9-track album, Groove Drenched Warfare, in 2004. This received positive reviews from magazines Metal Hammer and Burning Black1.
The band soon toured the UK, playing with acts such as Breed 772, Mastodon3, Entombed4 and The Atomic Bitchwax. 5
In late 2005 the band's original drummer Doug Bater left the band, to be temporarily replaced by Dave Felstead of local thrash metal band Denounce.
Parting with Anticulture records in April 2006, the band have gone on to record an EP named "To Romance the Serpent". They also undertook a short European tour with New Orleans band Valume Nob.
January 2007 saw the band recruit a new permanent drummer in the shape of Rob Gamblin, formerly of London based hard rock band Mad Dog. His arrival was just in time for the band's London gig with Sepultura6 in March, and subsequent European tour with Amen.
