The Leasowes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Leasowes (pronounced ['lɛzəz]) is a 57 hectare park in Halesowen, England.
Developed between 1743 and 1763 by William Shenstone as a ferme ornée, it is one of the earliest landscape gardens. Neglected since Shenstone's death, it is, as of 2006, the subject of a restoration project.
