The Magic Flute is director Kenneth Branagh's film adaptation of Mozart's opera of the same name.
In November 2005, it was announced that a new film version, set during World War I, was to be made, directed by Kenneth Branagh, with a libretto by Stephen Fry.[1] The film was presented at the Venice Film Festival on 6 September 2006, but no wider release date has been announced.
