The Source At White Plains
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Source at White Plains is a large urban-style shopping complex near downtown White Plains, New York. Located across the street from The Westchester mall and a large Crowne Plaza hotel, it features several major brand-name retailers and restaurants, such as The Cheesecake Factory, Fortunoff, Whole Foods Market, and Morton's of Chicago.
The Source at White Plains was opened in 2004 and was built on the site of one of the first suburban branches of the Saks Fifth Avenue specialty store chain, which closed in early 2002. Within close proximity of The Source are complementary retail developments such as The Westchester mall (featuring anchor stores Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus), a freestanding Bloomingdale's department store, The White Plains Pavilions complex, the City Center White Plains development, and the Galleria at White Plains mall in the nearby downtown district.
