From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Spirit of St. Louis is a book written by Charles Lindbergh about his solo trans-Atlantic flight in the Spirit of St. Louis in 1927. The book was published in 1953, and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1954.
A copy of the book flew in space on the first competitive Ansari X Prize flight in 2004, SpaceShipOne flight 16P. The X Prize was inspired by the prize that Lindbergh won for his flight.
