The "E" Ticket
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The "E" Ticket is a magazine in which each issue features the history of a Disneyland attraction. The magazine has been in print since 1986. It was printed by Disneyland fans Leon Janzen and Jack Janzen until Leon suddenly died on September 1, 2003. The last issue printed by the brothers was the Fall 2003 Issue, #40, on Adventure Thru Inner Space. In October, 2004, Issue #41 Jack Janzen published the first post-Leon Janzen issue. The most recent issue was Issue #43 - Fall 2005, released in November 2005, on the Frontierland Pack Mules and former Walt Disney Attractions executive vice-president Ron Dominguez, who was raised in a residence in Anaheim that was purchased in 1954 by Walt Disney to make way for Disneyland.
The magazine is named after the E tickets that, before the move to flat-rate entry tickets, denoted the top rides in the park.
