Hello, my name is Jon. I am an 18 year old hailing from the province of Ontario in Canada and I've been a Wikipedian since June 30, 2004. I am a pretty big geek and I've got a wide range of interests from politics to music to gaming. I like to meet people with similar interests so if you share any of mine feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.

Well lets see, I've been Programming since I was 15, and I am planning on attending university for it. I like a lot of different Literature, from Lovecraft to the Brothers Grimm.
I am an avid fan of classic gaming, and have recently begun purchasing various systems and games off of eBay for my collection. On the opposite side I try to stay on top of the newer games as well, currently I am playing a fair bit of World of Warcraft. Some of my favourite video games of all time include Final Fantasy Tactics, Baldur's Gate, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Super Mario World 2 and Pokemon.
I don't watch much television anymore but Star Trek holds a special place in my heart. I've been watching that show since I can remember and still watch it to this day. Strangely enough my least favourite series is the Original Series.
I've been playing D&D for about six years. I play 2e and 3e/3.5e, although it's hard to find players for 2e nowadays.

Music deserves a heading of its own. I listen to a large variety of music from a large variety of genres, some of my favourites include: Ambient Music, Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Experimental Music, Intelligent Dance Music, New Wave, NWOBHM, Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal and Thrash Metal. I like a bit of everything really.

Ever since I first went to this site, I've loved it. I couldn't even begin to count the number of articles I've read. After reading for a bit it was only natural that I decided to contribute.
My contributions have varied over the years and unfortunately I haven't made any BIG contributions to any articles for probably a year now. At the moment I spend the majority of my time on Wikipedia prowling the new pages and Recent Changes for vandalism. I still read a wide variety of random articles though and try to correct any errors I see.
