Fukax is a Death Metal band originating from Sweden. They have been hailed as one of the revitalizers of their genre, and their single "Long, Black and Pointy" has topped the charts in 17 countries worldwide. Currently the band is on hiatus due to tension within the group over the addition and subsequent rejection of a female keyboard player. Lead guitarist Hans has been quoted as saying that the group's creative process "has turned into some silly drama game between the members." It is currently uncertain if the group will resume recording their debut album, Long, Black and Pointy!.
