- Lucien Walker said he came up with the title of the song ("Where You Belong") and the album title because he was "reading alot of books that urge you to pay attention to your present moment and about life situations".
- Walker wrote "Death Said" when he was 18.
- Josh Freese recorded the drums for the album but had to leave the band due to touring commitments with Sting.
