The tombstone inscription is def. the "78th" year...whether or not that's accurate is another story. I've seem sources put his birth at 1696, but they could have just subtracted 78 from 1774. What is the primary source for his birth in the year 1700? TJ0513 17:28, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
