I'm a bit concerned about the external links on this article. Most seem only very tangentially related to Verstraeten. Instead, they seem to mostly be pushing the perspective that a)thimerosal causes autism and other neurological disorders, and b)that there is a government coverup, aided and abetted by villains like Verstraeten.
The larger debate about childhood vaccines and autism belongs in MMR vaccine, thimerosal, and autism, not here. --TenOfAllTrades (talk/contrib) 21:33, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I beleive that Dr. Verstateten did play an important role in the history of vaccines by discovering and later covering up the association between Thimerosal and autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders but i hardly think he should be listed as a discoverer of vaccines.
