Timothy Bush, Jr.

Timothy Bush, Jr (April 1, 1761 – 1850) was an early American member of the Bush political family.
He was the son of Timothy Bush. Timothy Jr. married Lydia Newcomb (28 April 1763 – 14 September 1835), daughter of Daniel Newcomb and Elizabeth May, on 26 July 1791 in Penfield, New York. They fathered Obadiah Newcomb Bush.
He was a blacksmith, as was his father. He is great-great-great grandfather of former president George H. W. Bush and great-great-great-great grandfather of current president George W. Bush. He was also the grandfather of biblical scholar George Bush.
