All the members were 15 and 16 years-old at the time . Andrew and Jordan formerly of "Faith is So 87'" decided is was time to get serious. They soon contacted Jarad formerly of the Bright Minded Cheerleaders and joined. Eventually Luke formerly of himself fell into the equation and soon they were on their way. They spent a some time writing music until they were ready.
[edit] The debut
They made their debut at "Battle of the Bands". They made it to regionals and came in 2nd place. Soon they played local shows. Mama K's was a very popular place for them at first. Soon they were playing more complicated shows at places like the VFW in Elk Grove and Knights of Columbus in Arlington Heights. A promoter insisted on being their manager after he discovered TTP. TTP turned down the deal and continued their long journey. Soon they were making local hits for Chicago with such aspiring songs as "If any more kids die" and "Businessman". The songs became a huge hit and soon their fame was growing in Chicago.
