Tony Williams (5 April 1928 – 14 August 1992) was the lead singer for The Platters from 1953 to 1960. Williams was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and died in New York.

- On the Mercury record label 45rpm release of the Platters' song, "My Prayer", Williams is listed as 'Tony Wilson'.
- His son Brian Williams, later known as Bison Dele, was a basketball player for five NBA teams before retiring unexpectedly in 2000 and disappearing at sea, presumably murdered, in 2002.
