Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation

The Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation (formerly the Dawson Indian Band) is a First Nation in the central Yukon Territory in Canada. Its main population centre is Dawson City, Yukon. The language originally spoken by the Tr’ondëk people was Hän language.
These people depended on the Klondike River, a major tributary of the Yukon.
The Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation signed a Yukon Land Claims agreement in 1992.
