Trashcore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Trashcore is a genre of music similar to mathcore. The term Trashcore was coined by Cory Brandan Putman of the mathcore band Norma Jean, in the band's DVD that is bundled with the special edition of the album [[O God, the Aftermath]. It is also the genre of the emerging Australian band Where Lightning Strikes.
"We write songs, we throw them in the trash, and then we take 'em out and play 'em," Cory remarks.
