Talk:Trevor Loflin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hmm, interesting to see a wikipedia article about me. Hopefully it can be made longer. I don't think I should edit it myself, but if anyone else would like to, feel free to ask me for anything you need. Trevor 19:44, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
how is that? User:Anon58
Um, a little crazy and web-stalkery, but that's OK, I guess. I'm not sure it's of encyclopedic importance, though. Honestly, I'm not sure I am, but whatever. May I ask who you are? If you feel the need, I'm sure you can figure out how to get in contact with me privately... Trevor 20:45, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merger completed
The text of this article, with minor modifications, has been merged into SAT under the section Raw scores, scaled scores and percentiles. I'm not positive if this is the most appropriate section, but given that the fame is most closely associated with the topic of scoring, I'm sure you'll see my reasoning. (The other possibility that might make sense would be the one currently titled "Taking the test.") Of course, there's not too much reason it shouldn't be its own section, either… I guess I thought it might look a little strange is all. So drop a line if you think it should be moved to elsewhere in the article. Lenoxus " * " 04:33, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] merger with SAT
The merger with SAT as proposed [[1]] was a shortsighted attempt to keep the information of this article in existence. The material inserted in the article on the SAT has since been deleted by an editor who rightfully questioned the material's relevance with regards to the SAT. The fact of the matter is that Trevor Loflin, though his accomplishment as a home schooled student may be somewhat notable and unusual, is completely out of place on the SAT article, which largely explains the history, format, and nature of the test. If Loflin's accomplishment is deemed notable, there is no good reason why this page cannot remain as it is. Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens 18:49, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
