More News from the CeBIT 2007: “With the launch of our new DVB-T stick, we have taken a further decisive step in the direction of multimedia,” explains Daniel Szmigiel, General Manager of TrekStor GmbH & Co. KG in Lorsch, central Germany. “Demand for an inexpensive, compact DVB-T stick persuaded us to develop a product in this market segment. By combining our hardware with the Nero software package, we are positioned with an extremely compelling product. TrekStor will continue to position itself in the multimedia sector in future, with new and innovative products over and above simply MP3 players and hard disks.”
TrekStor cooperates with Nero Nero BackItUp2 to be incorporated into all external hard disks from TrekStor – special version for new DataStation maxi t.uch for direct backup at the press of a switch Backups have never been easier
With Nero BackItUp2, users can easily plan their data backups. It allows them to backup individual files or entire drives, for example. To reduce the data volume, the software compresses the backups directly on the fly. A password protection facility also allows the backed up data to be shielded from unauthorized access, if so desired. The software’s strategic support of external hard disks makes it optimal for use with all TrekStor DataStation product families.
“With Nero, we have found a competent software partner,” says Daniel Szmigiel, General Manager of TrekStor GmbH & Co. KG in Lorsch, central Germany. “Our customers will soon start receiving all external hard disks with BackItUp2, providing a convenient solution for all data backups.” “Nero’s products set benchmarks for software solutions,” adds Patrick Peters, General Manager of Nero AG. “TrekStor’s products, which have received numerous awards are optimally suited to our software. Users now have a hardware and software package that turns backups into child’s play,” he continues.
