Tsing Yi Town Centre

Tsing Yi Town Centre (青衣市中心) is an area in the middle of new town on the Tsing Yi Island, Hong Kong. It is based on the Tsing Yi Town in the past and includes all the flat land surrounding, including the reclaimed land from Tsing Yi Lagoon.
Although it is named centre, the activities in the whole new town is distributive and the name Centre is only symbolic. Also, the urban development of the area was relatively late in the new town (mid-1980s to 2000s) comparing to Cheung Ching Estate and Cheung Hong Estate in the south hilly area (mid-1970s to mid-1980s).
The Tsing Yi Town Clinic and the Tsing Yi Complex are located in this area. The office of the Tsing Yi Rural Committee is on its edge.
