Typophile

Generally speaking, a typophile is a person with an affinity for type, typography and type design.
Typophile is an online community (Typophile.com) is a US not for profit organization focused on furthering the field of typography, type design and graphic design. The forum was started by Jared Benson as a thesis project in May 2000 at Brigham Young University. The site is primarily an online forum.
Not to be confused with The Typophiles of New York, another US based organization.
