The Sackville Street building of the University of Manchester; view from Whitworth Street.
The building has entrances from Whitworth Street, Granby Row, and Sackville Street. The one on Sackville Street is the old main entrance (called the Grand Entrance), but today the Granby Row entrance is the main one and has the building's reception and security desk.
Before the merger, this building was part of UMIST, and was simply called the Main Building.
