USF's mascot is the Don. What is a Don? The link under Miscellany doesn't help very much. SenorAnderson 06:14, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Incorrect is so embarrassed, he has removed his incorrect comments about USF.Incorrect 07:41, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Does anybody know anything about the academic standards of this institution? A recent graduate of its MBA mentioned that they taught him subjects such as letter writing, excel spreadsheets, finacial spreadsheets as full time subjects and that exams consists of 30 min multiple choice tick box questions. He also had no idea of the more conventional subjects taught at schools elsewhere.
- US News and World Report's 2007 Best Colleges rankings had USF at #112 for national universities. Washington Monthly has it at #95. 67.114.136.21 18:06, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
USF can't be THAT bad then, that narrows it down to the MBA or the student himeslf, I could not believe it when he told me what he did with a perfectly straight face.
- USF's MBA has gotten some fairly decent rankings over the years as well (for example, the Wall Street Journal ranked USF's program among the top 100 in 2004 and the Princeton Review ranked it among the top 143 in 2005). But rankings don't necessarily translate into a stellar student experience for everybody. If the student in question had such a miserable time, he should have just transferred. 67.114.136.21
I seem to have upset somebody, let me just say, I have nothing against USF or its MBA, in fact I know little about either. The student in question was not upset about his USF MBA, in fact he was trying to get employment with it. I was simply suprised by what he told me. Needless to say, telling me that excel class was what he most enjoyed at USF while glossing over his ignorance of Supply Chain Mangement did little to advance his cause. I was simply intrigued how USF could turn out such a low calibre graduate. Which is what made me try to find a little more info on USF.
- USF alum here. I can vouch that not everybody who graduated from USF had any business being there in the first place. Annoyedgrunt 03:01, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
