Vermont Cynic

The Vermont Cynic is the student newspaper of the University of Vermont. The Cynic has been published since 1883. Up until 1985, the Cynic was published using moveable type. The Cynic has also been published online since 2001. 2006 circulation was 6,000.
The University of Vermont does not have a journalism program - Cynic staff receive no course credit for their work on the newspaper.
