the united kingdom vandalism was one of my stupid classmated at school, but one of my pages has been deleted, it was Stylah and there was nothing wrong with it. can i get it back? PLEASE VictoryAfrika 22:29, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- See WP:BAND for the notability requirements for bands/musicians. --pgk 23:18, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Also see Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Stylah for an archive of the discussion and votes that took place regarding the article's deletion. At this point, per Wikipedia:Why_was_my_page_deleted?, you can either appeal the deletion, or get a copy of the article to work on in your userspace, as a subpage (for example, as User:VictoryAfrika/Stylah). Note though that, per the AfD: "The facts mentioned should be written in the article, with reliable sources. As the article was written, it fails WP:BAND"—as pkg mentioned. Hope this helps. —XhantarTalk 23:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stylah
Hi there.
Please don't edit a closed AfD... You can request an article's undeletion on deletion review. Grandmasterka 23:00, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- The page has been temporarily restored to User:VictoryAfrika/Stylah. While in your userspace, you may attempt to clean up the article and improve it to meet Wikipedia's generally accepted standards. You may not create links to the page while it is in your userspace and you should not attempt to move the revised version into the article-space until you get some independent opinions that the issues raised during the original AFD discussion (and the DRV debate) have been successfully addressed.
Please also remember that this is a temporary restoration only. In general, that means a few weeks or months. When you are finished with the version in your userspace, please tag the page with {{db-userreq}}. Thanks. Rossami (talk) 06:13, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} FINALLY. i have finished the Stylah page. It is still kinda rogh but please add it 2 a proper wiki page ith no User:VictoryAfrika/ at the beggining. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Peace --VictoryAfrika 22:11, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- 9000 copies is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Please review WP:MUSIC. If you believe this musician satisfies those criteria, add content to your article such that it will be clear to anyone reading it why Stylah is notable. -- Selket Talk 23:21, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Karimbrown.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Karimbrown.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:09, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
