vilcambamba is in ecuador not in peru, correct that (added by User:200.116.148.38)
Further to the above Vilcabamba IS in Peru, although it is on no maps becuase, as the article states, it is now a ruin and not inhabited. As such it may only appear as "Espiritu Pampa" (plain of ghosts) on maps. There is also a modern day settlement in Ecuador called Vilcabamba - it is not the same place. (added by User:81.168.58.234)
Vilcabamba IS inhabited, it's a valley, a town and a parrish near to Cusco. It's on the map, in province of "La Convencion". --Lanerossi 21:59, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
It is a small village. It has no other comunication than a walking road. The only way to reach it is by foot. (Despedes 04:01, 7 January 2007 (UTC))

I'm not 100% sure that this is the Vilcabamba that is in the game, however the location on the games map seems to be in the Peru area. The map isn't charted though, and it seems pretty close to Ecuador, so my edit might belong in Vilcabamba, Ecuador. Just a heads up. DSMeatte 20:57, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
