Villa Barbaro
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Villa Barbaro is a patrician villa in Maser, in the Veneto, northern Italy. It was designed and built by the Italian architect Andrea Palladio between 1549 and 1558 for his friends, the Barbaro brothers Daniele and Marcantonio. Palladio's use of a greek temple front on this domestic building was the first of its kind.
The villa is part of the World Heritage Site The Palladian Villas of the Veneto.
