Vinny Samways

Vinny Samways (born 27 October 1968 in Bethnal Green, London) is an English ex-professional football player.
Samways won the FA Cup with Tottenham Hotspur in 1991. He also scored the only goal of the 1995 Charity Shield match as FA Cup holders Everton beat League Champions Blackburn Rovers 1-0. He made his first appearance in league football as a substitute at Nottingham Forest, and made his full debut at Everton.
After a difficult time at Everton. Vinny had great success at Las Palmas. Vinny captained the team and was the heart beat of the side, noted in England for his flair on the ball in Spain he became something of a hardman whose nickname was Los Locos.
