Vision training
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Vision training is the training of visual perception and recognition, and is used throughout the optical world as a method of training the eye. First conceived in the US, as a method of increasing the performance of fighter pilots by the US airforce, it has now been transferred into the private sector. Vision training has many different uses, such as; Dyslexia correction, sports vision and learning help. Although the latter is primarily used in the US, the other two are becoming popular in the UK. Currently there is no governmental support for dyslexia or sports vision enhancements. However many universities are now providing grants towards the cost for their students.
