Waldo Ponce (born April 12, 1982) is a Chilean footballer, who currently plays for Chilean club Universidad de Chile. His debut came in 2001 and he quickly became a regular in the back line.
Ponce was the contracted by Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg at the young age of 21. He stayed with the team for two years until making his return to the "U".
He has appeared in 90 games with the "U" and has scored 5 goals. He also played for the Chilean national team during friendlies in the year 2006.
