Walter Ellis

Walter Ellis, born September 7, 1948, is a United States-based, Irish-born writer.
Ellis is the author of The Beginning of the End, the story of his early life in Belfast, Durham, Cork and Brussels, and his uneasy relationship with his notorious distant cousin, Ronnie Bunting. He also wrote The Oxbridge Conspiracy, a study of élitism in higher education in England.
He is the father of the musician Jamie Ellis.
He has lived in New York since 2001. He and his wife Louisa spend their summers in Brittany. Louisa is a successful graphic designer and painter.
Ellis – formerly a journalist and foreign correspondent for several British and Irish newspapers, is moving into the field of fiction and hopes to publish Waiting for Wallenberg, a thriller, in mid-2007.
