Wappinger Creek

The Wappinger Creek is a fairly large creek running through Dutchess County, New York. It Starts in the northern section of the county and ends in the Hudson River. The average level of water for the creek is about three feet, with flood stage at about eight feet. The record water level for the Wappingers Creek was nineteen feet on august 19, 2005.
