Warichu (formerly diginote.info) is a communication and research tool that sits on top of the web and allows discussion of the webs content. The Warichu framework is used for social annotation, bookmarking and enriching web pages with user specified content. The Warichu framework uses modules/widgets called "Chews". Each Chew allows the user to create a different type of content on any web page (Such as notes, highlights, summaries, blog entries, research notes, etc.)
[edit] Extending Warichu
Warichu can be extended using an open API to create Chews (like Collaborative Chew and Sticky Chew.)
[edit] Using Warichu
Currently Warichu extensions for both Internet Explorer and Firefox are available for download.
