[edit] Notable problems
I happened to come about this article, and it has real problems. About 3/5 of the article has non-notable (wal mart? fast food? come on) facts in it, schools are not automatically notable to be added in Wikipedia, nor are school districts. user:Pzg Ratzinger
I think these "notable problems" you mention have been repeatedly restored by the public because they actually describe what life is like in the city. Since this town is so small, we have plenty of room to actually describe what life is like here, as opposed to keeping everything very brief, as must be the case in a large city's wiki entry. Small towns are personal, (little things are a big deal!) and therefore so should be their wiki articles. -Anon.
[edit] Miami Trace
This section was just clearly a shot from Miami Trace to court house students. It has been removed.
[edit] Orthodox Christianity?
Could someone please explain the purpose and source of this heading, as well as the use of the "Orthodox" terminology?
No clue. It doesn't seem to hold enough importance to remain, anyways.
This is one of the most poorly written articles in Wikipedia I have a seen.
I agree, I've removed some of the blatantly inaccurate and opinionated articles. This page truly needs the work of a group of editors willing to put the time and effort into shaping this page up.--Ray--
Ray: I agree that inaccuracy and opinion should not be presented here. But what I have seen you remove in the past is not just inaccuracy and opinion-- it's the small-town details that everyone in WCH knows and loves. Please see my comment above, in "notable problems." -Anon.
[edit] Washington Court House City School District
I suggest that a new page be created from this section. What do you think? --DangApricot 03:54, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
I submit that while the WCH district's block of information is rather large, the information is nevertheless useful to those researching the city. The lack of participation from Miami Trace or Fayette Christian School "insiders" should not be the deciding factor on whether or not to remove the WCH schools' page from the view of the general, curious public. -Anon.
I agree that a new page should be started from the information. It is cumbersome to wade through all of the information, though I beleive a curious public should know it, perhaps it can be moved to streamline the info a bit.--Ray--
I also agree that the schools should be separate from the main page. Though the information is very important to the researcher, it will surely be available through a link (if provided.) This will free up much needed space for more pizza talk. The commentary on this page astounds me. Keep up the good work writers! -GK97-
I agree with and support this venture whole-heartedly. Being a student at Washington city schools, I would thouroughly enjoy having our school in its own position on Wikipedia. Keep up your support. -Grotz-
I wholeheartedly endorse this suggestion with a link from this article. The schools section is rather large.--Paloma Walker 02:33, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I agree with the first commenter: "the information is nevertheless useful to those researching the city," but if a person is smart enough to have navigated to the WCH page, won't he figure out that if he wants to research the schools, he'll just click on the schools link? Making it a separate page is good, to aid the flow of information, but if that happens, we must keep some kind of little introduction with the link--for example, stating how important the schools in the city (and county, really) are to the citizens. That brings up another point: even though the WCH schools section is much larger than the other schools' sections, we must move all of them, if we move one. -Anon.
