"We Are Here To Change The World" is a song written and performed by American musician Michael Jackson. The song featured in his short film Captain EO which was a major feature at Disney theme parks from 1986 to the late 1990s. The song has an upbeat tempo and is critical in the film, as it allows Captain EO, played by Jackson, to dispel the evil within the lair of the Supreme Leader, the antagonist of the film short. The song is sung with several backing dancers, and an alien named Hooter playing a keyboard in the background. Jackson sports a white jumpsuit and his look from the Thriller era. The song was officially released for the first time on Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection in 2004, along with the similarly named and yet slower-tempo song "We Are the World."
