The Web 2.0 Toolbar is a toolbar or browser add on for Internet Explorer and FireFox based out of Boston, Massachusetts that has received attention from bloggers around the world. The toolbar is a single-point resource for keeping up on, contributing to and searching the top web 2.0 websites on the web. It is a time-saving utility for web 2.0 enthusiasts.
Launched in 2006, the free application was built using available open source and web 2.0 technologies including Wordpress. It combines the search, submit and news functionality of web 2.0 sites like Digg, Del.Icio.us, Technorati, Blogger, Reddit, Flickr, YouTube, SmugMug, StumbleUpon, Gouper, Gotuit and more
