[edit] Merge proposal discussion

For: (I am the original proposer of the merge). The TV series article info is already mostly in the main Weird Science article, and I feel there's little to be gained by making the information separate anyway. I'd assume that most people are interested in seeing one in the context of the other, and it's not like there is so much material that it needs splitting. Fourohfour 16:51, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Against: The article on the television show should be longer as it had a reasonably long run, has a somewhat interesting history of syndication, and is somewhat recent. I'll try to do some research and expand it later. -Drdisque 17:47, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Against As reasons above. Also, I might make a page about the single/song Weird Science by Oingo Boing, juts letting you know in advance so that the info doesn't clutter up this page about the movie. --Rachel Cakes 10:31, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

Against For reasons already stated. Both articles need to be expanded though, and a song article isnt a bad idea either.SkaTroma 21:17, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
