Welshpool is a locality of the City of Canning, partially contained within the Town of Victoria Park. The area is considered to be one of the main industrial areas of Perth, along with Kewdale, Kwinana, Henderson, Malaga, O'Connor, Canning Vale and Osborne Park.
It is served by Welshpool railway station.
