The West Pymble Pirates are a Semi Proffesional Football Team located on the North Shore of Sydney, NSW, Australia. The team plays in the local competition and also in the Coveted Craig Foster Technical Football Challenge.

The West Pymble Pirates were founded in 2006 in a protest of the outrageous fee's which were posted by the West Pymble SC. The breakaway was founded by Ben Trupiano who was inspired after a very successful A-League first season and the Heroics of the Socceroos in Germany. The team then arranged a game at the end of the season against West Pymble SC which was held at Norman Griffiths Oval infront of a crowd of over 2000 spectators. It was somewhat ironic that Trupiano scored the winning goal with just 1 minute left in Normal Time.

The team's Next Game was a Friendly against Club de Fightball. The team went down 15-3 in a 6 a side game.
The launch of the Craig Foster Technical Football Challenge was a fresh start for Club knock out competitions. The tournament would be held at West Pymble Public School and featured Ethnic FC, Lokomotiv Kaiserslaughtern and Club de Fightball. Pirates had a full squad available and relied heavily on the presence of Barker 1st XI Striker Andrew Rush, and Riverview Defender Partick Clapin. The team breezed through the group stages finishing 1st with 14 out of a possible 18 points. The highlights of the Group stages included a Goal of the Tournament effort from Trupiano in there first game and a Last Minute Winner against Lokomotiv.
Given Automatic Entry into the finals they would face lokomotiv for the Inaugral Trophy. Youth Player Matthew Mills scored early before Sassoon Simmoneon equalised from the spot in the first half. Both teams had there chances in the second but the game was destined for penalties. Both team scored all until Andrew Parker of lokomotive hit the keeper. The emphasis all week had been on penalty shootouts in training. And As Trupiano cooly slotted the winning penalty, he erupted into a John Aloisi inspired celebration.
The CFTFC V2 saw the welcome of New Club Sik Kuunts FC. Pirates were thinking finals Football after a 1-1 draw with Fightball but star signing Elias Laliotas walked out on the club minutes after there embarrasing 4-0 defeat to ethnic FC. The club then struggled against Kuunts and as a final Crucifixtion. Lost to Lokomotiv 8-1 in the Final. Highlighted as the lowest moment in the clubs history, the team left the comp early with no dignity at all.

The preperations for V3 are well underway and the Pirates are hoping to return to there winning ways. They are apparently in Talks with Kent Aoyoma and Brad Fisher. With Andrew Rush out for V3 they will need a new striker. Sponsorship may also be changing hands with MacDonald Macquarie and Mint Clothing Bidding for the Rights should Family Videoland not renew its contract.
